Network working before people arrive.
This shouldn’t be a problem since configs are now saved for all switches, but a dry run should happen a week before the event.

having hot food available at all times;
grill was shut down by halftime
2nd pizza order (3) became an obligation (and higher than normal cost)
Maybe go back to Dominoes?
What we didn't do (but should have done)

have equipment to reheat food (microwave at the minimum)
have policy for custom food orders (like % mark-up)
need large ice scoop, and 3 tubs: Pepsi, Coca-Cola, water/bawls/other
Tourney Organization
Put pictures of the previous tourney winners up on the wall next time.
CS:S became a deathmatch, as opposed to a tactical team game
Have people preregister teams for CS:S and ET?
They could win as a team, and maybe vote an MVP
Get a nice 30+ person map for UT2004. There were complaints about the map used (Tokara Forest).
Game Organization / Communication
Difficult to find players for more obscure games that were supported.
Make dry erase boards available
Players write their name, seat location, and a time they are available to play.
Forums
Create a forum on the BYOC page.
Allow for pre-LAN Party communication.
Players can find team members for group matches and tournaments.
Players can scope interest in their favorite games.
Players can arrange to play more obscure games at the LAN Party.
Registering / Logging in at the LAN Party
Players register games they play either at the LAN Party or during pre-registering.
Players log in and log out of the LAN Party.
Create a webpage to display the data.
Summarize number of players who play each supported game.
List players by name and username for each game they play.
