Meeting Minutes for February 7, 2008

The regular meeting of the Penn College ACM was called to order at 3:35 pm on February 7th in ATHS E208 by Tom.

• OLD
  • LAN Party is canceled
  • No one contacted use or made an attempted to fix the situation so as promised there will be no Lan party February 8th
    • Me did get positive responses from people how will now help police future evens so this will not happen again
    • The next one will be heeled February 22

• NEW
  • Tom is looking for people to come up with topic for upcoming ACM meetings
  • BYOC planning meeting was a big success
  • Next year there a talk of a game design major being offered by the school

• Tom gave a presentation on game design
  • To start off you need
    • A language
    • C++ or Csharp.net
    • Make an Engine or use a premade one
    • True vision Engine is a 3d middleware witch you can get for free
    • This is an easy way to get into game developing

• Mac user group will be Friday February 8th in room E335
• The topic for next week will be on blue tooth technology

Meeting was adjourned at 4:10 pm by Tom. The next general meeting will be February 14, at 3:30 in ATHS E208
